All last week I was so excited for Sunday to get here, because it was going to be so pretty outside. There was not a chance of rain in the forecast, and it was going to be 80 something degrees. I said, finally maybe we can get out on the boat without something crazy happening. I should have known better. We got the boat off of the trailer and were sitting in the boat waiting for H&D to put their pontoon in. Kyle out of no where just says, Lissy...I looked at him and saw the look on his face like oh crap. I knew right away...we forgot the keys to the boat. OMG! Seriously? Yes, seriously. Kyle got out to make sure they weren't in the truck and off he drove. We were like 20 minutes from our house. I couldn't believe he left to go back to get the key. We could have just gotten in the boat with H&D. I guess because every time something happens to where we haven't been able to take our boat out. We put in where three different creeks meet up. It was probably a mile or so winding back into the woods where the boat ramp was. It was a pretty busy little place. We all stayed on the boat near the ramp to keep an eye on our boat until Kyle got back. He got back and off we went to the river. It was so dang hot!! Especially when you are wide open to the sun. We brought Jigga for the ride, but he stayed on the pontoon where they had the cover up for shade. We did some joy riding on the river, enjoying the breeze before going fishing. I only caught a couple of fish. Derek caught a pretty big catfish while we were waiting on Kyle to get back. It took like 10 minutes to get reeled in.
We pulled back up to the ramp after 4 hours of fishing and riding. I think the sun wore us out. Jigga was hot and panting all over the place. Ian and I stayed on the boat while Kyle went to get the truck to get us out. He came back to the boat and asked if I had my phone on me. I said yes? He said well, I think someone stole my phone and your purse because the truck got broken into. I think I was in shock. I said what?!? I have never in my life had something like that stolen for me or my car ever broken into. I hopped off the boat to see what was going on. We called Kyle's phone and actually found it in the truck. My purse was for sure gone. Yeah, big deal, my purse...well, it was...it was a Louis Vuitton that was a wedding present bought for me while we were on our honeymoon in Hawaii. So, it was a personal gift and an expensive one at that. I am still trying to use the photographic memory that I have to picture everything that was in my purse. I think of something every so often. They didn't get anything else in the truck besides like $4 that was sitting in the front console. We wonder if that is not what attracted them to break in. However, they broke in on the passenger side in the back where my purse was. What is weird is that his truck is really tall, so they couldn't have seen it easy. I had it stuck under the seat and covered with a shirt. They also broke the window most visible to everyone that was right in the parking lot. It had all of my debit cards, credit cards, insurance cards, membership cards, checkbooks, brand new prescription eye glasses, my camera that I had just put a brand new 2 GB SD card in, all of the rest of my gift cards I had just gotten for graduation, my car/house keys, and a few makeup things. Talk about feeling invaded. We sent someone to our house to check on it since the jerk offs would know we were out at the river. They had my house keys, car keys, and my address from my checks. Luckily I had taken my driver's license with me on the boat for the boater's license on it.
We called the cops to file a report. It took them a freaking hour to get there. It sucked waiting. I was able to call and report all of my debit cards stolen though, so hopefully they couldn't have gotten anything from them. An investigator should call me tomorrow to finish up the rest of whatever. So, I took off today to get all of my banks settled and my insurance claimed. I think I am still in shock about it. I keep trying to go to my purse for stuff and I can't. The old purse that I have to use is so empty that I feel stupid carrying it. We changed the locks on the house so that the old key won't work. I am so not a religious person, but I do believe that what goes around comes around. I am not quite sure why this happened to me, but I do know that it will come back around to whoever did this to me. I try to look a the bright side of this crappy situation and tell myself that you have to learn a lesson somehow. Lesson #1 is to not forget the boat keys again. Lesson #2, never leave your purse in the car. There is no telling how many times I have left my purse in the car because nothing like this has ever happened to me. I know now. It just stinks really bad. So, that was my wonderfully looked forward to Sunday that turned to sorry Sunday.
I've gotten my new table put up. I had taken before and after pictures, but my camera is gone now to get them uploaded. I'll see what I can do to get one up. I bought a different bedding than what I originally wanted. Turns out the website I was looking at really was a rip off, so I decided not to go that route. I think I got a better deal anyway. I got a 20 piece set that I have been loved ever since I put it on the bed. I just put out my new bathroom stuff too. Now, I need stuff to hang on the walls in there. I am finally getting it together a little at a time. I would really like to paint too. I think finding a bed is my number 1 thing to do.

I hope everyone has a good rest of the week. I sure hope mine gets better than yesterday and today were. One good thing is now I only have a 4 day work week. I get my hair done this week...I always enjoy that. I need it this week.
